I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (New York, NY) in May 2019
Interview
The whole process took 3 weeks. Contacted by the recruiter, had a phone screening, made it to the office for interview which took over 2 hours. HR guy was friendly. But I could not seem to find common ground with the other people I interviewed with who yawned several times and had so many long uncomfortable pauses.
Followed up several times after to no avail. Then recently my friend who works there told me that position was filled prior to my interviewing and for some bizarre reason they went through with it anyway.. how odd
inpersonal, recruiter seemed like she did not want to be there, loud and noisy background. QUick interview boring behavioral questions. We reviewed my resume. Thats reall all. Werid skills tests and excel tests.

Interview
I went through and introduction interview, and was told that the main team lead was on vacation, but would go through formal interviews once they got back. I sent multiple emails in the coming month, even just to get an official NO. The job is still posted and I have never been contacted again.

Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good fit for this role?
The interview went ok but they never closed the loop with me/didn't tell me that they weren't going to proceed with me as a candidate. She asked me about the salary I wanted and seemed taken aback by what I asked for even though I don't think it was unreasonable.
