I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Roobicks in Aug 2021
Interview
I had a total of 6 interviews within the span of 3 months. I sent in numerous videos pitching the product and myself and was told the final decision was between myself and one other person. After following up numerous times I was finally told I was not selected for the position. It was frustrating because I interviewed with the creator twice, the team several times, and I would think at that point they would have had a decision. I don’t understand why the process was so drawn out only to turn me down. I would recommend in the future a shorter interview process with higher quality vetting to save everyone time.
Got an email response the same day I applied. After a few days of emailing back and forth we were able to set up a day (not a time) in which I was to receive a call. Waited all day and the call never came. Not even a courtesy email asking to reschedule. Sent an email asking if everything was OK and never got a response.
Called the next day and managed to get through. The woman sounded inconvenienced and prefaced our discussion (in which I did most of the talking) by saying
she needed someone with sales experience. I guess she didn't read my resume.
I was told I'd hear back in a few days and didn't--she couldn't even be bothered to send me a cut and paste rejection email. Waste of my time.
