Interview
I had applied for a job listed as 4 days a week. I was invited to an interview within 2 weeks of application.
I arrived in store and was taken to what can only be described as a broom cupboard. The room was just big enough for 2 chairs and was very very hot! Making it extremely uncomfortable.
The girl who was interviewing me was a sales assistant, i found that a little strange for such a big company to have a sales assistant doing recruitment rather than the management. She did most of the talking and didn't really ask too many questions. Literally just a couple of general questions. Yet she gave me a lot of information, including that the biggest contract she could offer me, if i was successful, was a 10 hour (not the 4 days as advertised).
Girl informed me that they would inform me either way in 48 hours. I walked out a bit confused really as i didn't feel i had actually been interviewed. (this is why i have rated it as easy) However, as I have 15 years retail experience, both in sales and management roles i didn't feel too worried, but 5 days later (not 48 hours) i got a rejection email, no feedback given.

Interview
Group interview of around 15. First task was saying your name a bit about you out loud, just general information it seems like name age what you do. Then the second task was writing down good customer service and bad customer service in your little group and reading it out to the group. During this, they are checking to see what you say, but try not to talk over anyone but definitely stand out. The second task was getting clothes from the shop floor presenting your outfit and explaining your choice. I don’t believe they cared too much about your previous experience but rather your personality.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Introduce yourself
2. What’s is good/bad customer service
3. Go to the shop floor and pick out an outfit and present your choice
Fine, questions not always relevant but seems like a personality test I suppose. Nice enough interview in general. Quite quick interview, didn’t end up getting the job though , oh well

Interview
Interviewer was very nice and created a relaxed atmosphere. Questions weren't vague and helpful to help me along with the answers. Staff seemed friendly and i look forward to my position here.
