I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rightpoint (Boston, MA) in Feb 2019
Interview
Very "car sales" type interaction, which led to concerns, however I followed through with hopes they weren't full of it.
After speaking for 20 minutes, they claimed to be in touch EOD or next day. A couple of days go by, I followed up with 2nd email. The response said they would set up a time. No further contact has been made after 1 week.
Too many recruiters are scared to speak up and let a candidate know that the company will not be moving forward. This is usually because after the initial call, your credentials are sent out, where someone else gives the official "no". Either way, too car sales-y for me.
Not only does this show lack of confidence in their recruiters, it paints a really bad picture of business practices.
Imagine how they treat clients if this is how they treat potential employees?
