First you have to submit your application and the take a ton of assessments (150 question in just 1 assessment for example) to test your personality and critical thinking skills. You can easily spend about an hour or more just doing the assessments. After that I had a phone screening call with a recruiter, who wasn't confident in the salary range or in asking/answering questions. Seemed like they didn't know what they were looking for and I only got an automated email response back later that week saying update to your application, but the body of the email had literally nothing in it, so I had no idea what was going on. I responded back asking them and didn't get a reply. Reynolds and Reynolds recruitment process is a hot mess and has been for years. They used to make you come to their campus and take an SAT style test in a horribly cramped little room before choosing certain people for the next step while never saying why some were chosen and others weren't. Their whole process is long and unnecessarily cumbersome.

I applied for a couple different positions and then received a generic email stating they have reviewed my resume and would like me to schedule a time to come in for an aptitude assessment and a possible interview. I scheduled a date and time for the on-site assessment but prior to this there was another assessment to complete at home. This was about an hour of basic math questions, patterns, vocabulary and ethics. The email did contain a practice test with ten questions to help prep for the assessment. I knew the math back in high school and college but haven't used it in a while so the questions were a bit difficult. If you study these they will be helpful! Once I arrived to the location I went into a computer lab where there were about 10 others taking the assessment which took about an hour to complete. If they have you stay you will be meeting with recruiters, if not chances are you didn't get the job. I understand their reasoning with the test but I applied for a job in HUMAN resources and did not speak to one person in regards to my experience which I found frustrating. I don't feel my math skills should reflect how I work.
