I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Revature in Jun 2023
Interview
There is no technical interview that assesses your programing skills. There is a preliminary exam that brings you back to high school. No real preparation needed. Once you take the exam, they will schedule you for a virtual orientation interview with many others. They describe the system of employment which is pretty much a soft paid training phase, then you get assigned to a client(if you get assigned to a client). You may have to relocate, they help you with travel expenses, etc. I won't go too deep into detail because there are plenty of reviews online, but I exited the orientation because it sounded like textbook exploitation of people who were desperate for a job. If you have absolutely no other option, this may be the opportunity to take up, but from my experience, your confidence in your ability to get a job with real benefits and fair compensation is very short compared to what your ability actually is
