The interview started well with questions about holistic care practices which seemed extremely progressive and positive. There were some questions about my experience, qualifications then discussion of pay. I found it a bit unfair however as I was offered the base rate of pay that someone with no qualifications or experience would get where as I am fully qualified and I have lots of years of experience behind me. The interview got extremely weird and uncomfortable when I was asked whether or not I felt comfortable working with “foreigners”. I thought the wording was very rude and that it shouldn’t even be a problem, we are all there to do the same job at the end of the day it doesn’t matter where we come from.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Renaissance Care (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Dec 2020
Interview
I applied for a role in indeed and then they call me for doing a short interview around half an hour in the same call. They were very friendly and understandable
