Three stages into the hiring process I get an e-mail from the manager saying that they decided to remove the position and rely on internal resources. I had a call with HR which was a standard call to inquire about my experience and expectations. Then I submitted two tests for logic thinking and personality which took each 15~20 minutes. The last step was an interview with the hiring manager which went well. They expressed their interest in my profile and asked to return back with a reply. After about a week I get informed that the opening is withdrawn and will be filled by internal resources. If there is an uncertainty about the possibility to hire why interviewing candidates and waste their times? Any approval from people higher up in the firm should have been obtained prior to announcing the opening and interviewing the applicants. I am not sure whose to blame in this event but it surely harms the company seriousness and aptitude in conducting business and hiring talents. Three weeks into the process and the position is withdrawn. For future job seekers, please don't waste your time. There are plenty of other firms in Stockholm area that are way more serious.
