The interview process was actually ridiculous. I really would look somewhere else if you are a recent graduate looking for an entry level job. I first applied for this job after seeing a Linkedin post for an entry level sales associate position that explicitly stated no sales experience was necessary. After applying, the CEO reached out to me on Linkedin and said he was impressed with my resume and would like to schedule an introductory call. I thought great, this must be a good sign. Then, I hop on the call and the CEO cuts me off as I try to answer each of his questions and is overall rude. He repeatedly told me I have an untraditional background and he is not fully convinced that I want to do sales. Then he tells me that because I don't have any sales experience he wants to consider me for an internship instead of the regular position which already rubbed me the wrong way considering the description on the LinkedIn posting. The next round was in-person and conducted by two AE's. They were much nicer and more professional than the CEO, but the interview was still unconventional. Instead of asking me any questions about my background they ask me to roleplay two random situations. After the role play they asked me to pitch their services to a "pretend" client. This rople-playing and mock sales pitch all took around an hour. The next day I receive an email that they would like me to come in for a test day. This was the part of the process that I thought was the most absurd. For this round, they made me get on the phone and spam call random banks for 3 hours. At this point I thought I surely must already have the position, if they are going to make me work for them for free. After I finished up the calls, one of the AE's pulled me aside and told me I did a great job and that I would set compensation on a call with the CEO that evening. When I got on the call, the CEO asked me Why Sales again and then dodged my questions about compensation. He instead just asked me questions about my living situation, specifically where I lived and whether I was paying my own rent or not. He abruptly told me he would give me answer by the end of the following day and ended the call. The next day I got an email saying that they went with another candidate and I was shocked. Way too many strange interviews and NO clarity around compensation.
