The interview was okay. Once I logged on the interviewers were laughing and talking, then quickly tried to jump.into character, which was kind of odd. The owner eventually got on halfway through the short interview and had been fussing and talking out loud for a few minutes on camera into the mic. She didn't introduce herself or title until toward the end of the interview. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I didn't like her tone or presentation. She seemed SMUG and NICE/NASTY. But I powered through it and kept a positive demeanor. She didn't answer about expected caseload on a weekly basis and did not answer about how many staff members you'll be working with. I had a very bad feeling about her and her company honestly. And she also was very interested in where I used to work. After the interview I received a phone call from one of the interviewers saying that a reference was needed from my previous employment to be considered. This was very strange and fishy as no one has ever asked for a reference from a prior center due to possible negative feelings regarding departure. Overall very strange and negative experience and I suspect a toxic work atmosphere just judging from this disjointed interview. I'm avoiding that at all costs.
