I’m an internal employee and had a great interview with the panel. They even told me at the end. But then they ended up giving the position to an internal “buddy” who was with the company for over 10 years, even though she had no reimbursement experience and very little management experience. I have over 7 years of management experience and 8 years of reimbursement experience. They picked the candidate that was part of their club and looked like them (Caucasian). The company gives a lot of lip service to DEI, but the same old discrimination keeps happening when it comes to promotion.
