I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo in Oct 2017
Interview
I talked to them at my campus career fair and I applied online. I went in for the interview and heard back 9 days later that I got the position. Overall, it was a positive interview process other than the fact that one of the two interviewers was late to my interview, so I didn't get as much time as other interviewers. I thought this put me at a disadvantage, but it didn't!
All the questions were behavioral based and nothing was too out of the ordinary or something that I didn't expect with my previous preparation.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2026
Interview
Received an email from a recruiter about wanting to set up a phone screen. We set up a time but I never got a call from the recruiter. 10 minutes after the scheduled time, I sent an email just wanting to make sure if everything was alright and whether or not the interview was still happening to which I got no response. After a few days, the recruiter sent me an email saying they need my phone number. Completely ignored my previous email. All the email was in the same thread so this person definitely saw my previous email. No acknowledgment, no apology nothing. After I replied to this email with my number and new availabilities I got completely ghosted.
