The interview was conducted in two stages: 1. Skype Interview which consisted of questions about personal history, professional history and reasons for wanting to live and work in Japan while teaching children. 2. Follow-up interview consisting of a demo lesson.

Fill a form on their website, film a 5 minute self introduction video, then have an interview by zoom. The interview took 1 hour, including a 5 minute demo lesson. The whole process from application to job offer took around 3 weeks.

Depending on your home country the interview accessibility can be inconvenient, for example I had to fly out of my city to attend the interview.
The interview was a lot easier than I expected. Make sure to have an easy English demo in mind for young children, brush up on your grammar if needed, and think of safest answer for questions in regards to children's safety.
