I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (Denver, CO) in Aug 2014
Interview
I had a friend that was an Internal Employee, and she submitted my resume to the corporate recruiter. After the initial phone interview with a corporate recruiter, she submmited by resume to the District I applied to. After my phone intervew with the District Sales Manager, I had an in-person interview with two District Sales Managers. The last step was a phone interview with the Zone Manager (manages multiple Districts). Once all the interviews were completed, the District Sales Manager extended the offer over the phone right away.

I was called for an initial phone interview. Then I was invited to a virtual interview. After that I was asked to meet with the hiring manager. I found it very way and straight forward.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (New York, NY) in Jan 2022
Interview
Recruiter phone interview. Interview with manager. 2 hour shadowing taken out of my full time workday and then a sales presentation interview. Was told I would hear back at the end of day after the presentation and heard nothing. Super bad look on the manager and company. Glad I dodged a bullet with this management and company! Unless you want hours of time wasted, I would steer clear.
