I applied because I was encouraged to do so my a current Onehouse employee. I went through the HR screen and an interview with the hiring manager. Then I had a session with 2 people who would be my peers where we co-wrote a blog post. Then I was given a homework assignment "Review our entire content program, tells us what works, what doesn't, and make suggestions for improvement". What? That's a 3 month consulting engagement. But I did it anyway. While delivering my presentation, the marketing leader decided to push back on my criticisms and suggestions. Reading between the lines, I began to wonder if she had ever intended to hire me. It became clear that the last 4 weeks of interviews and homework had been a total waste of my time.
