1st round: Covered Python basics (list/dict comprehension), Linux, Docker, SQL, OOP, computer networks, and project walkthroughs. The questions were straightforward but were almost rapid fire with no engagement.
2nd round: Started with one medium SQL and Leetcode question, which went fine. But then the interviewer shifted to scenario-based questions like “What would you do if there’s an outage and the client is losing money due to your mistake?” The questions felt unrealistic for an SDE-1 role, and despite giving multiple practical answers, he seemed to expect some rote, template responses, and looked very unsatisfied.
