I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Normative (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Aug 2025
Interview
1. Screening interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
2. First interview with the hiring manager
3. Online Personality & Logic assessment
4. Technical case Interview with the Hiring manager, wider team and CEO 5. Stakeholder Interview
They changed the scheduled time at last moment and during the interview they said nearly nothing about the company and role, no introduction at all, until I started asking questions. But the most negative aspect was that the day of the interview, before the discussion, I received the generic email saying I've not been selected for an interview. This after the opposite was communicated and an interview scheduled... I did not proceed to further steps in the recruiting after this initial interview, however the handling of this first step was messy and unprofessional.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Normative (Toronto, ON) in Sept 2021
Interview
Normative is genuinely one of the best companies I've interviewed with. The people and culture are fantastic, also the work sounded really interesting! They care deeply about mental health and work-life balance by providing 5 weeks of paid vacation. The interview process was phenomenal and actually really fun! There were 3 rounds of interviews for the Strategy Analyst role.
1st round: 15 minute chat with an employee to get to know you
2nd round: 1 hour chat with 2 employees
3rd round: 1 hour interview with 3 employees about a Case Study (don't get scared! This case study was actually just a collaborative chat to understand how you solve for a problem)
I loved all the interviews, everyone is extremely genuine and kind. If you are thinking of applying to Normative, this is your sign to apply!
