During the Interview, I met with the manager and assistant manager. They essentially went through what I would consider the average interview questions & their values as a company. Towards the end they asked me to put together a few outfits for different situations out of items they had picked out.

First question: why do you want to work for Nordstrom? I actually fell asleep by waiting for the phone interview, and suddenly wake up after 2 hours later. I don't know why they called me 2 hours later and after the position has already been filled.

Interview
The phone interview was more intense than the one in person. When I went to Nordstroms they brought a bunch of us in a room where we met with the department heads individually. They asked maybe 10 questions. Nothing super intense. After that the manager walked me around the dresses department and asked me to pick out a dress I would wear to a daytime summer wedding and sell her on it. She loved that I talked about the fabric. Make sure to talk about making customers happy.
