I have 3 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer, and based on my SQL knowledge, My interview was scheduled at Nice Software. I cleared all round and I was selected for the Associate Consultant position.
There were 4 round :
1st : HR
2nd : Technical
3rd : Technical
4th : HR Manager
During the 1st HR round, I was informed about a 1-month bootcamp where I would learn Power BI and need to pass an assessment. However, one day before joining, I was informed that I would need to go through an Informatica bootcamp instead, which I subsequently joined. Unfortunately, no trainer was assigned to me, so I learned from an on-demand course in Informatica. Due to my PL/SQL experience, Informatica was manageable for me. Throughout the bootcamp, weekly reviews were conducted, and I consistently received good feedback.
The final assessment primarily consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a requirement to score between 75-80%. There were 50 questions, out of which 35 were checkbox questions where multiple answers had to be selected. In such scenarios, scoring could be challenging as missing an option or selecting an extra one could result in an incorrect answer. Despite clearing all internal reviews (bootcamp interviews), I was discontinued from the program.
I believe this decision is only on MCQ test result, they are not interested to check knowledge which candidate gain in 1 month. And expecting to score 80% in certification level exam could not be easy in 1 month.
I don’t recommend to join bootcamp program in Nice software as it would be risky and can cause career gap .
