Received an email that said, "Thank you for your interest in the Biomechanics Researcher II position. I want to schedule a time to speak with you about your experience and this role.
Please let me know your availability this week." We set up a time via email to speak and had a call. This call was from "Talent Acquisition" and was essentially a pre-screen before sending my info on to the people who could truly evaluate my area-specific skills. The interview (or pre-screen) went great and I was told my information would be passed on to the next step. I never heard back from the people involved in the "next step".
The interesting thing is that I received this "Talent Acquisition" email nearly a year after I applied for the position. I had forgotten that I even applied! Glad they keep applications on file and make a pass every once in a while. I know a lot of people who work for Nike and they all seem to be quite happy. This experience, while it didn't lead to anything, was pleasant and the "Talent Acquisition" person (Lauren Robideau) was really friendly and responsive.
