Interview
You start out with a cognitive exam of 50 questions. You never find out which questions you got right and which ones you got wrong. If you do well enough on that test, you get a 1 on 1 with an HR rep who watches you take the the exam a 2nd time to verify you are the one who is actually taking the test.
You then get a 1 on 1 with your future lead, who will just ask you various technical questions about your past experiences. Just answer honestly.
Then you get to a 3 hour interview with three panels of two people. They ask you questions but don't seem to have a purpose to their questions. I was asked the same question multiple times and at one point, one of the interviewers didn't have her own questions prepared and started asking questions another interviewer had prepared; thus the same question multiple times.
I was asked to code on the white board and it was a rudimentary problem that was solved but some follow up questions like "What if I did x?"
I'm not sure they actually know what they're looking for but I ended up not getting the job and inquired as to why, for betterment of myself in my future interviews and haven't gotten an answer. This is pretty common but a negative experience nonetheless.

Question 1
If you had to implement an AI chat system, what would be the first questions you would ask?
Normal difficulty. Recruiter screen. Did not get past that so don't know specifics about further interviews. Recruiter screen involved asking about different technologies I have used including programming languages and database stuff.

Interview
All was great until the final interview. The first two parts were with the recruiter and hiring manager. Both were great to chat with. They had reasonable questions and the interviews were quite positive, comfortable experiences.
The final interview was a panel with the hiring manager, a couple devs on the team, and another team member that asked behavioral questions. My experience talking to the devs in particular was dreadful. It was like they weren't even listening to me. Several of their questions began with "So you said you're this type of developer" or "why do you make this technical claim?" -- very few of which I ever actually said. The most senior dev on the team would additionally ask me 3-5 questions at once, then make a face like he was offended if I remembered to answer all but one.
I didn't get the offer, but I wasn't disappointed. I'm glad I met the team and got a glimpse of what I would have had to work with every day.
