My interview got scheduled. I joined the interview, waited for 30 minutes, the interviewer did not join. The interview got scheduled again after two days. This time again, the interviewer did not join. At 9pm, I received the message saying, "Hey! The interviewer is available now. Can you join?". By now I was pissed and did not want to continue further but since the company is offering WFH, I was tempted and asked them to schedule for some other day. The interview got scheduled after a week and finally the interviewer did join. He had a very grumpy tone and I started having a bad feeling about it. He asked very basic bookish questions about Java. And from the questions it started to feel that they are working on some legacy software as none of the questions were from modern frameworks or versions of Java after Java 7. For some of the questions regarding multithreading, I tried to answer using newer concepts such as Executor Pool and completeable futures. But the interviewer didn't seem convinced. By now I had lost the interest and flunked the rest of the interview.
