The whole process took 2 weeks . HR told me that they are going to take 2 rounds of interview. First round was technical they asked normal core java questions for 1 hour . Second round was coding round . Interviewer asked only one coding question(anagram). He asked me to solve that question in multiple ways . I executed that solution in 3 different ways. He did not have any other question so he was just passing time asking me silly questions around that same problem. HR called me to tell me that they want to conduct another round as they have not tested me in data engineering skills . In third round of Interview , Interviewer asked me designing questions on distributed systems and 2 sql questions . He wanted to listen the answer that he knows . After all the rounds HR called me that you are fit for the role of Data Engineer but not Senior Data Engineer(not in their budget). Such a waste of time. They could have filtered out this thing from the initial resume screening only that how much experience a person holds on designing and data engineering but they like wasting time of others.
