Interview
just had one interview with the Product lead. It was only 10 minutes, very tricky and hard as his style of interviewing is different and was not pleased with my answering style ( STAR method). Interview also ended abruptly and I was left very stunned

Interview
In all my years I’ve never witnessed a more unprofessional interview.
As part of the shortlisting process, I was asked to prepare a PowerPoint presentation deck. The brief was very vague and could have been interpreted in a number of ways.
I received a calling confirming that they requested an interview which was scheduled to be in person but then was shortly changed to a teams meeting.
When the call started, the head of the department did not turn their camera on. No questions were asked regarding the PowerPoint presentation and pretty much from the get go disregarded my experience as it wasn’t directly related to the job.
A question I asked myself was ‘If I was a stakeholder, would she have kept her camera off?’ Very impersonal, disrespectful and overall a terrible reflection of the company culture.
To top it off, there was no follow up engagement. I completely understand if a candidate isn’t the right fit for a company, but have the common courtesy to communicate this and give potential feedback.
If this is representative of what it’s like to work in, I’m very thankful I dodged this bullet.
