The process was fine - 3 rounds plus a task but not too taxing. It went quickly but almost too quickly. I was given hardly any availability options so had to just make it work. I think I did everytin just over a week, but then it took ages for them to get back to me. It was really disheartening. And then I ended up getting the job. I'd say it was the recruitment team's shortcomings over my now boss.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic (Castleton-on-Hudson, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
This company uses the STAR interview techniques, which leans on open-ended questions such as, “Tell us about a time when something challenging happened with a coworker.” You should be well-rehearsed and also good on your feet for questions like these.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
“Tell us about a time when you needed to solve a problem with an outside vendor.” “Tell us about a challenging management situation you needed to solve and what you would do differently in retrospect.”
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic (Swords) in Apr 2021
Interview
Applied via the company website, heard back with 2 weeks re interview opportunity. Had 2 interviews, both standard I would say. Nothing unusual to report, asked my history, what did I know about Medtronic etc....
