The process from beginning to end was awful, probably my worst interview experience to date. I'm partly to blame, as I applied for this position before reading all of these negative reviews. Anyways, I received a request for an interview and decided it would be good practice and a learning experience if nothing else.
When I first arrived, I was asked to take a basic 6th grade math test. Keep in mind I have a bachelors degree in textile and Apparel management. This was such a turn off and a waste of time. I almost walked out right away.
After sitting forever, I was finally called back to meet with a guy who I'm assuming was with HR. I don't really remember the interview questions, but I do remember they were kind of strange. The interviewer kept repeating each answer I gave, as if I wasn't clear.
After the interview process, I was told that I was asking for too much money, and they would probably go with someone else. Huge loss on their part considering my experience in both inventory and the apparel industry. Since this is such a small company and money is such an issue, why wouldn't we discuss pay upfront and not waste each other's time.
I received an email a week later asking for another interview, but I had already made up my mind at this point.
In the end, it was a total waste of time, and I didn't even learn anything from the process. Two weeks later I was offered an incredible opportunity with a much larger company, with great pay, benefits and awesome employee reviews.
Life definitely has a way of working itself out, and based on these reviews on here, I'm glad everything happened the way it did. My recommendation is to steer clear of this place, and look around for better opportunities.
