4 people invited to the interview, only myself and one other attended. The role had changed the day before from a Desktop support / Sysadmin role to 'Linux Sys admin' they still wanted to go ahead with the interview despite my lack of experience in their now key areas. I went ahead, the interview was pure technical and very Linux and Puppet heavy. The interviewer had no idea of anything about the role in terms of time split between skills, team structure or even the location of the role. I did not expect to hear back and I didn't even get a 'no'. Rightly so, the skill gap was too large. I just wish they didn't have to put me through that soulless battering despite changing the role. If i was invited for a second interview it certainly would have been a no from me.
