After accepting the application, for a 30 min screening call they asked a one day worth of work, including a plan with metrics and deliverables for the first 3 months. Which supposed to the the on-boarding time. Unrealistic. Reminder: this is a director level job. The founder asked it to do within 4-5 days. Even more unrealistic. I was a fool to do it. I had the experience, so I could get it done, but as it could be anticipated, it was a complete wase of my time. In the interview, the owner absolutely liked the work, and in an after email promised a quick feedback. 2 weeks on, and nothing. I wrote a letter, they asked for patience, and then they never-ever got back to me. Hereby I can confirm, that the culture is absolutely toxic with unrealistic expectations. Completely disrespectful of candidates' time and energy, even at director level.
