I have no idea why i didn't get the role. I did everything great. I asked for feedback, and I didn't get any. It's super weird. I don't know what else they want from a person. I'm a founding engineer with 10+ years of experience. Everything was fine. I've built complete apps from the ground up scaling 5M users. I've experience building component libraries, setting e2e test frameworks. Not sure what else they are looking for. Very strange tech market. Who are they hiring? Elon?
The recruiters also have been weird too. I received 2-3 rejection emails lol. An automated email as well. I asked for feedback and nothing. They asked me to flatten an array... Why? My windsurf IDE does that on 1 second. I guess it wasn't the right company for me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Magic Eden (Hong Kong) in Jun 2025
