Magasin seems only interested in hiring danish people. You would expect a department store to have bigger interest in international talent. All roles, interviews etc is in danish. At the same time maybe thats why Magasin is not operating at international standard.
They also ask to do a case on what the departments could do to improve in terms of buying before you even passed any screening. That's asking for free labour without even being considered, that should come as a second step.

Question 1
Do suggest improvements and brands for certain departments from a buying perspective
I applied online. I interviewed at Magasin du Nord (Copenhagen, Capital Region)
Interview
The interview was around 1-2 months, and consisted of HR screening, personality and cognitive tests, a case study, personality and capability review and a finalized interview with a panel. The process included meeting with and talking to 4 different roles and was very intricate throughout the entire process.

Question 1
What brands could be a potential within Magasin du Nord?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Magasin du Nord (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Mar 2022
Interview
Interviewed 3 times at Magasin. First with recruiter, then Hiring Manager, then Hiring Manager and CMO. All interviews was pleasant and I had a good experience. After the third interview I did not hear anything for over a month before I decided to reach out myself. It turned out they went with another candidate which of course is totally fair - but please remember to get back to all candidates.
