I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Salt Lake City, UT) in Sept 2015
Interview
The interview was very professional and a good amount of time. I arrived 20 minutes early, and she saw me 10 minutes before my appointment. The questions were very standard Macy's questions. She was dressed professionally and looked you in the eyes. She took diligent notes as you spoke. Although the interview was professional, there was a calm setting between the interviewer and interviewee. I got hired on the spot.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (San Antonio, TX)
Interview
I worked at Macy's in the late 2010s. The cosmetics manager asked me several questions. A few questions were difficult, like asking about what I would do if I saw a coworker stealing, but most were straightforward. She was also very respectful and supportive since I was unsure how to answer a few of the questions. They know that you need time to learn. Overall, it was a great experience for a beginner applicant.
