I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Brooklyn, NY) in May 2014
Interview
I applied online and received an interview request via email. I went in and was asked a series of scenario-based questions like "when was a time you received good customer service?" . Basically, all of the questions were simple and "behavior based" as they say. If you can make up a good enough answer on the fly, you'll probably get the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None of the questions were particularly difficult. Just nod your head and say yes to everything they ask.
Pretty easy, nothing crazy. Basic questions. Asked if I had any experience with retail and customer service. After the background check you’re good to go. Management isn’t the best but it’s alright.
