      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Houston, TX) in Dec 2018

      Interview

I want to start off saying that I worked for Uber as an Uber Expert in the Hub, so I was very confident that I would be selected for the role as a Community Associate with Lyft (which is essentially the exact same role I had with Uber). Lyft's whole atmosphere is extremely pleasant. I applied online, and the entire process took a little over a month (due to holidays) to complete. I received an email from a recruiter to input my availability for a phone interview. I had my phone interview with a different recruiter a few days later. I was then passed on to the Operations Lead and had a phone interview with him a week later. After that phone call, maybe a few hours later, I was asked to input availability for an in-person interview with the Operations Lead I had spoken with on the phone. I met up with him maybe a week later. Interview was pretty straight. It started on time, I was offered water and snacks, and felt very comfortable speaking to him. He was very upfront that he was interviewing five other candidates and I would know soon if I was going to move on for a group interview. A full week had gone by and I hadn't heard anything, so I did honestly think I was out of the running. I sent a follow-up email to my recruiter in which she informed me that I had indeed moved forward for the group interview, and that the position now had three prospects (including me). I scheduled the final interview for a week later because of my schedule (which was rescheduled to the very next day by the recruiters due to some scheduling conflicts with Lyft's team, so I am glad I stay ready). The group interview was with my future supervisor who I'd be working with and a Driver's operations lead. I knew then I killed the interview, because nothing was forced and I fit right in with the team. I was not told that I had secured the job that day. I found out the following day when my recruiter called me. I am extremely happy to begin my journey with Lyft. Uber's work environment was extremely toxic, and from what I can tell, Lyft is definitely a caring company. *Also, they provided Lyft credit for every in-person interview I had to go to!! How amazing is that!* If you are applying to either work for Uber or Lyft, please choose Lyft! I'm saving you many headaches!

      Interview

Three step process: phone interview with a recruiter, video interview with someone in the actual office, and in-person interview. Lyft is clearly very committed to their brand and looking for hires who will be content to stay in their new role for a year+ before promotion

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Santa Ana, CA) in Oct 2019

      Interview

They were very thorough in their interview process to determine the best possible fit for their company. I understand the necessity of them making sure they adequately selected the best candidate. The process of the experience was a little more lengthy than I have ever gone through, but I feel it will leave me well equipped with what is to come with this Lyft!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you handle a situation where a driver kept getting put off by different Community Associates.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Indianapolis, IN)

      Interview

5 interviews total in 5 weeks. Took a while but all the people were pleasant to speak with. First over the phone with recruiter, then over video with direct supervisor, then over phone with some sort of regional coordinator, then in-person with direct supervisor again, then over video with regional manager. Each interview was about 15-20 minutes and all almost identical conversations. Mostly just get-to-know-you and your previous work experience/skills.
