I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Luxoft (Bucharest, Bucuresti) in Mar 2014
Interview
First a HR interview over the phone, something like half an hour.
Then a technical interview that is quite demanding. It includes all kinds of questions related to Oracle, some requiring in-depth knowledge of how the database actually works, concerning which many would say: "that's the DBS's job, not a developer's job". Unless one has some knowledge concerning the inner works of the database he should not think even of a middle-developer position. Not only accumulated knowledge is appreciated, but also the willingness to learn.
In my case, the whole hiring process lasted no more than ten days since the HR interview, and that was due to the fact that the developers that managed the technical interview came to Bucharest from Kiev. I received the answer the same day I passed the technical interview.

An easy coding exercise at the beginning followed by a bunch of mostly theoretical questions from the programming language, frameworks, databases, concepts like microservices.
Unfortunately the interviewer was from another project and couldn't answer my questions about the role.

Easy 3 steps.
First one with recruiter, second one technical and last one with manager. Each interview was conducted in friendly manner. Technical interview was question based, not leetcode style
