One of the bizarre interview experiences and most rude behaviour of the recruiter, HR and the technical team. After completing all the rounds, HR verbally confirmed me that I was selected and asked me to reallocate to base location immediately as the date of joining was in 4 days. She informed she will send offer letter in few hours. Later recruiter too confirmed the news and asked me to prepare to reallocation. I immediately started looking for flight and place to stay. I didn't make any payment as I was waiting for the offer letter. No offer letter came till evening, so I called the recruiter. She told some things were pending with the technical panel so probably by tomorrow morning it will come. I booked the flight because fair was increasing rapidly. Next day I waited till noon and then pinged the recruiter. She ignored it. I called her but she didn't pick neither she called back. I dropped mail to HR and technical team, but no one bothered to reply. Finally, I gave up and cancelled my flight tickets.
I have no idea what happened suddenly but even if they changed their mind or hired someone else, the least they could have done was to update me and not waste my time and money.
