The process was not honest. I was bait and switched into a Call Center role that I was highly overqualified for. I interviewed with HR personnel, and a VP, but NEVER an actual future coworker that worked at the site I was applying. I was accepted to be hired as a Help Desk Team Lead, then was told last minute that they decided to hire an internal employee, but (over the phone) was told that they have a Help Desk Specialist role available.
I looked at the job description emailed to me from the HR person I spoke with and it was a completely different title Help Desk Engineer, which read like a Call Center job. When asked 3 times over the phone if this was a Call Center job, I was told no twice, and eventually told its a "hybrid" position but not a Call Center.
I accepted the position because I was told it was not a Call Center, and on my first day when I sat down at my desk the phone rang and the words "Call Center" displayed on the IP Phone. I was bait and switched, and I was not the only one in that office that was by this company, I wish I never accepted employment from this company.
