After applying online and connecting with a former colleague who worked there, I was called for a quick phone screening and to schedule an in-person interview.
They had a set of standard questions they were asking of each candidate, but they were open to letting the conversation go where ever it went.
It became clear very early on that this was not the kind of role I was looking for, and that they had something else in mind. But the people I interviewed with were intelligent, friendly, and very interested in hearing about my background - even though it was clear I would not be a good fit for that role.
A few days after the interview they sent a friendly, personalized email informing me they were going with someone else. I thanked them for their time and professionalism, then connected with them on LinkedIn.
No one likes walking away from an interview with that feeling like it is not going to work out, but it felt very mutual, and based on the way they treated me, I have nothing but good things to say about Levi's!
