The interview process for the Graduate Engineer Trainee role at LTIMindtree consisted of two rounds — a Technical Round and an HR Round.
1. Technical Round:
The interviewer was very friendly and created a comfortable environment right from the beginning. We started with a brief discussion about my resume, and most of the questions revolved around one of my major projects mentioned there. The interviewer seemed genuinely interested in understanding my approach, the technologies used, and the fundamental working behind the project. The discussion went in-depth, covering both the conceptual and practical aspects. The conversation lasted for about 45 minutes, during which I also got insights into the interviewer’s own experience at LTIMindtree, making the interaction even more engaging and informative.
2. HR Round:
The HR interviewer was equally warm and approachable. The questions were general in nature, focusing on understanding my personality, communication skills, and work ethic. Some of the topics included how I manage tasks in a time-constrained environment, my willingness to relocate, and my motivation to join LTIMindtree. This round lasted around 10 minutes, and it felt more like a friendly conversation than a formal interview.
Overall, the experience was very positive. Both interviewers made me feel comfortable, and the discussions were insightful. It was a great opportunity to showcase my technical knowledge and personality in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere.
