It was an extensive interview process with a total of six stages:
* 30-minute HR pre-check
* 1-hour interview with the VP of Product
* Ad-hoc case study with the VP of Product and a Product Owner
* 1-hour design case with a UX Designer
* 1-hour interview with the CTO
* 1-hour interview with the CEO
Plus, two reference checks.
The discussions were in-depth, engaging, and covered a wide range of topics. Everyone I spoke with was pleasant, and I left with a very positive impression after the final stage.
That’s why it felt quite disappointing to receive a generic, boilerplate rejection email stating they had “moved forward with another candidate.”
