I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kavalri Games in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process was composed of three different conversations. One initial meet up with a lot of info about the company, and project. A second one with a technical person which involved semi informal discussion of topics and problems. And another one in which even more details about what would the conditions be, and if the fit between company and me was right.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kavalri Games in Oct 2022
Interview
It was an introductory interview were I got to learn more about the company & the game they are making. They were also affected by the pandemic & we talked about how it has affected me during my education.
Positive:
- Quick process
Negative:
- The title I applied for was not the same that was mentioned during the interview. Due to "a lack of understanding of the job description for most applicants" the title was changed to "Junior QA generalist".
- Very cocky attitude towards hiring employees - Listing "a salary" and "a job" as a perk
- QA test was a complete redo of the current onboarding of their actual live game, which was knowingly a negative experience for players
