Interview
Interview was not what was expected in the slightest. Panel members continuously harped on topics such as plumbing and welding when this was advertised as a plant operator position. There were two positions on Kaiser's website: "Operating Eningeer- Plant" and "Operating Engineer - Facilities", and I applied to the former. This may have been a mistake on HR's part, but the panel expected me to be experienced in every single trade when I expected to be interviewed for plant operations and maintenance. For the pay that was being offered, there was an unrealistically high level of knowledge they wanted across all trades.
