Applied online at jcp.com. They called me 3 hours later and set up interview for next day. Got hired on the spot and started my training an hour later. Interview was pretty standard, asked questions about customer service and past work experience. I got hired for a different position than applied for, but ended up transferring to my first choice a year later.

Interview
Did an online application, and I was called in the next day.
First part of the interview was with the Assistant Store Manager, with an HR person in the room.
After I passed that part of the interview, I was invited to talk to the Store Manager while the ASM sat in and took notes.
