Telephonic conversation:
HR - Your profile is extremely suitable with the job vacancy so can u please come down to our office today itself.
Me - ok. What is going to be the Pay scale beacause I am not expecting anything below X LPA.
Hr - don't worry about pay and all. We have got the budget. We will take care of ur requirements . Just come for an interview.
Me - ok
F2F interview:
Round 1 : extremely easy and basic questions.
Round 2: Two guys took my interview. They asked basic and childish questions. Interview continued for 2 hours almost. They gave a problem and asked me best optimum way of solving it. I solved in best possible way. They initially did not agree with my solution so I asked them what is the solution in their mind. I then proved why my solution is better than their's. And they admitted that they did not think from that perspective. After 2 hours of stupid interview, they asked me to wait till they pass on the feedback to HR.
Hr : congratulations! u are selected.
Me : Thank you. Are there any more rounds.
HR : u may leave for the day. we will release offer today itself. What are ur salary expectation?
Me - I had informed u on the phone itself before coming for an interview. Anyways I expecting X LPA.
Hr - for ur experience u will not get X LPA. Anyways I will speak to VP and will release offer today itself.
Mr - but we spoke right? Regarding my salary expectations.
Hr - don't worry I will convince VP. U will get a call from VP in 1 hr regarding general discussion and just say what u are expecting.
After 2 days:
VP - hi, can u tell me about yourself. What are CTC expectations.
Me - X LPA
VP - ur CTC expectations are too high and anyways we will get back to u to see what is the best we can offer u.
I never heard from them again.
These stupid guys wasted my day!!!
