I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insperity (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Had two recruiters reach out and ensure me that I was a perfect fit for the position. Went through phone interview with recruiter. Then went through interview in person at office. The position was offered to current employee. Felt like I was mislead through the process.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Insperity (Irving, TX) in Jul 2017
Interview
I was interviewed over one month ago by 2 Payroll Supervisors. The interview went extremely well, and I was encouraged by the way our personalities seemed to gel and just mesh well. The interview wasn't the problem, it was what happened afterwards. I was put through a very extensive and extremely invasive background check, not even knowing if I was being considered seriously for the position. I worked with the background checking service and Insperity's internal HR department several times to ensure that they had everything they needed. Now, over a month later, I still had no answers so I wrote the 2 ladies I interviewed with and the recruiter who first contacted me as well. After a few more days, I finally received a denial letter. No specific reason.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me a list of questions, mostly opened ended, about what I would do in multiple scenarios for Payroll, HR, customer service, etc. I answered to the best of my ability.
