Infosys System Engineer interview was smooth and basic. Online test had aptitude, logical, and simple coding. HR round focused on communication and basic tech concepts. Overall, friendly panel, no stress, mostly checks clarity, confidence, and fundamental understanding. Easy for well-prepared candidates.

Following the assessment test, got shortlisted for the interview phase. The session itself was very smooth; the interviewer created a supportive and comfortable environment right from the beginning. The conversation centered around my project, where I had the opportunity to detail its technical aspects, architectural choices, and the underlying motivation for building it.
Multiple rounds including face to face and aptitude depending on the role type and resume and project related questions were asked with focus on technical concepts including data structures and algorithms

The interview lasted around 30 minutes and focused on Java fundamentals, projects mentioned in the resume, OOP concepts, certifications, and basic HR questions. The interviewers were friendly and gave sufficient time to answer.
