The interview process consisted of an Online MCQ Test on the CoCubes platform followed by a Coding Test. Then there were two rounds of Technical interviews and one HR interview. I cleared the MCQ test, solved all the coding questions (4 Questions), then went for the technical interview. The interviewer first asked the coding language preference I said C++, then he started asking me whether I knew Java I said yes I know Java and have used it before but currently, I use C++ for my coding interviews. I think that at this point the interviewer lost all interest in the interview and started asking me about my hobbies and other stuff not related to any technical interview just to pass the 30 min slot. I was fully prepared for any coding questions but none was asked. Later I came to know from my friends that only those people were asked coding questions and selected for the next round who was coding in Java. Now my question to Informatica is that if you need only Java Developers, then just clearly mention it in your job description, why to waste anyone time and effort.
