The process was fairly easy. To be honest ,it was more like a conversation than an interview. The interviewer was nice. They provided me with an assignment at the end.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Talk about your resume, your past work etc.. Gave an assignment to come up with copy for company on social media.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ideate Vision (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2017
Interview
I was told to call the CEO after he had sent me an email after receiving my application. I called him and it was a phone interview, though I had no prior warning to an interview. I had thought it would be in-person, or at least a call to set up an in-person interview, so I was glad I had researched the company and practiced interview techniques beforehand.
The initial interview was relatively short, about 1-2 hours. The CEO mainly asked questions about my degree, how I found the listing, my skills, graphic design, and what I thought about social media and marketing. I found it easy to answer and there wasn't anything technical about it. He was very clear in his answers and easy to talk to over the phone. I asked a few questions myself and discovered that the internship is a work from home position since the company mainly works together all online. I wasn't expecting that since the information was nowhere online, but it fit my schedule at the time and I thought it was more of a perk for me. Afterwards, I was offered the internship and accepted. This led to another call the next day to finalize details and explain the position and what I would be doing. I would say this interview took two days and an easy process, though some details should be made clear in advance.
