I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (Fishers, IN) in Nov 2021
Interview
So progressive. Pushed DEI initiatives down my throat in an effort to get me to subscribe to promoting LGBTQ and liberal political agendas throughout my team. It was a really disappointing experience.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at IKEA (Calgary, AB) in Nov 2025
Interview
Very good, and responsive recruiter. The process was well done and on track. Everyone was responsive in a timely fashion. Pleasantly surprised. Met with a re recruiter and then with 2 managers. Next will apparently be a country manager.

Question 1
How I responded to a difficult situation with employees
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (Frisco, TX) in Jan 2023
Interview
Everything is routed through a corporate recruiter which causes a bit of a disconnect from the actual operation. First a phone screen with the recruiter. Next an in-store interview with the hiring manager. Seems like a good place to work, low turnover and good benefits.
