The interview process was very disorganized. There was heavy construction around the hotel, and no one informed me about parking or entry beforehand. When I arrived, I was told valet was free for interviews, but I had never received that message.
During the interview, I was told guests often complain about construction and that front desk staff are expected to handle issues with unhoused individuals without security. Pay was $16/hr, but parking costs $80/month.
After the interview, I received a text saying I didn’t have the required experience (despite my 7 years in hospitality). A week later, I received a follow-up call asking if I was still interested. When I mentioned the rejection text, I was told it might’ve been a management error or glitch. The whole process felt inconsistent and poorly managed.
