I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Honeywell (Bengaluru)
Interview
Was contacted through a consultant for this opening. Interview was scheduled soon following a preliminary telephonic round, and I went to their new campus for a face-to-face.
The interview consisted mostly of technical discussions (due to the role) and a few puzzle/what-if scenarios. Interviews were thought-provoking and unsettling, since the questions were not standard ones. I had about 3 technical rounds, one with my reporting manager and the other two with panels of 2. The technical questions were the best I have ever been asked in a 10 year career. Even the puzzles were beautifully framed. The only other comparable interview was one I had at Texas Instruments.
This was followed by a HR discussion round, which was pretty short. There was also a psychometric test I filled online. All-in-all, a great interview experience and I got the job!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions on my particular experience in time series modeling.
Another was a puzzle on writing a C statement interpreter using operator precedence and what would happen in case of a comment (asked indirectly)
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Honeywell (Sydney) in Nov 2023
Interview
2 stage interview. both of them were online and was indept and fully technical. the first was practical questions with examples, there was not mention of salary. when i asked of salary, they said the HR will discuss that.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Honeywell
Interview
Process takes time around 1 to 2weeks. They dig in every area of your specialization. They are bit choosy and would prefer aerospace related work experience. First would be telephonic and second face to face, third and fourth would be face to face and finally HR.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
C,C++,OS,Bitwise. and aerospace related questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Honeywell (Bengaluru)
Interview
I had already read negative reviews about the interview experience so my expectations were pretty low. Even then, they managed to not meet my expectation.
I took a day off and went for the interview. Couple of members in the panel welcomed me to the interview. At the beginning, they started talking about all jargon like Pair-Programming, Test driven development etc. None of them were relevant for the interview.
The interviewer ended abruptly without a formal conclusion right after 55 mins. To add to the unprofessional behavior, there was no mail communication about the status of the interview. It has been a month and I am still waiting without any hope.
I would say the whole interview with Honeywell was a waste of time and I recommend to not wasting your time on this interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked me to convert Roman numbers to decimal numbers. The interviewer was not clear on what he wants. Either the design or the test cases or the logic. He seems to want everything under an hour without giving clear understanding of the question.
